It’s exactly what you think it is, and VH-1 is clearly attempting to outdo MTV in the shock-and-awe reality television department. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The series will explore the art of romance — free of preconceived notions, stereotypes and, yes, clothing. ” You may (or may not) have seen TLC’s similar venture into nude reality TV recently, “Buying Naked”, which featured nudist couples going house-hunting together. The real question is whether this continued attempt to scrape the bottom of the barrel in the idea department as it relates to unscripted series will eventually backfire on the cable networks. While some are sure to be outraged (or at least feigning outrage) by the concept, a great many will probably award this — and other like-minded shows — little more than a well-earned yawn.
