78 Year Old Mississippi Man Wakes Up in Body Bag at Funeral Home

Hallelujah! It's a miracle!

No, it’s not a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but this unfortunate man was indeed “not quite dead” when he was zipped up and taken to a funeral home in Lexington, Mississippi. Yes indeed, Walter “Snowball” Williams was, and is, alive.

Funeral home workers were preparing to embalm Williams, when they discovered that he was kicking inside the body bag. Though he previously had no pulse and had been pronounced to be expired, the coroner believes the mistaken death diagnosis was the possible result of Walter’s pacemaker stopping and later resuming functionality after he was taken away.

Mistake? Miracle? Your theories below.

UPDATE: He’s dead. Rest In Peace, Walter Williams.
