California’s Anti-Science Busybodies Ban E-Cigarettes From Parks and Beaches

Two months ago, Democratic Senators Blumenthal (D-CT), Markey (D-MA), Durbin (D-IL), and Brown (D-OH), sent a letter to NBCUniversal and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association urging those groups that showing e-cigarettes at the Golden Globes Awards show might, “glamorize smoking.”

This week, the busybodies in California’s State Assembly used the same backward logic in a winning effort to ban e-cigs, “in most work sites and many public places, including parks and certain beaches,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

And there you have it. Those pipe-puffing California denizens who dare to make decisions on their own, can’t be trusted.

These illiberal lawmakers are actually hurting the normalization of e-cigarettes. E-cigs save lives. And by restricting the use of the healthier e-cigarette, California Lawmakers could potentially drive Californians back into the toxic arms of tobacco cigarettes.

Pay attention America. This is another example of the (not) Progressive Left being regressive, anti-choice, and anti-science.
