    Enough small talk

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Mz8_Hh6rwo

Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Michael Tracy is a country fried rocker with a southern soul, and a songwriting machine with phenomenal talent. Then add in some incendiary bursts of infectious guitar riffs from lead guitarist Boo English,  the burning baselines from the sensationally hip Roey Haviv, drizzled with a heavy dose of solid, in-the-pocket grooves from drummer Loren Bates, and fused with the tantalizing sounds from the impressive Scott Sanders tickling keys — and something magical happens.

Michael’s husky tone adds extra charm to the experience. Authenticity is the key to the music, and these gentlemen are bona-fide, masterful players who bring unparalleled energy to every song. They are constantly working on their music and perfecting their artistry. They know that’s what it takes to make music that matters. Their hard work is paying off. Last year Michael and his band were:

*2013 winner of the Charlotte Music Awards – Rock*
*2013 Readers’ Choice Best Songwriter – “Best of Charlotte”/Creative Loafing Award
    *2013 Charlotte Music Award Nominee – Singer/Songwriter*

Michael & his band are also preparing to travel the open roads in 2014 to support their new album. This will be Michael’s first official album release since his 2011 debut “Enough Small Talk.” Keep your eyes open for these gentlemen. In the meantime, you can find out more here.
