  • Alex Jones’ Latest Conspiracy Theory: Glenn Beck Works for Obama

Jones says the conservative radio host is a "Judas Goat"

World class 9/11 Truther/all-around conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is never at a loss for words, and that was certainly the case as he climbed aboard his Cliven Bundy high horse, slamming Glenn Beck for not backing the man who turned out to be a racist bigot. According to Alex, Beck is a “Benedict Arnold” who has somehow teamed up with the Obama administration in order to supposedly slander the good name of the Nevada rancher.

    According to Alex Jones’ Infowars:

Glenn Beck, who fancies himself a libertarian, is working with corporate media insiders and a former CIA employee who flaunts his membership in the globalist Council on Foreign Relations. The objective of this group at the very heart of Beck’s operation, now readily apparent following the Cliven Bundy standoff, is to portray the Nevada rancher as a racist zealot, a member of a dangerous and outlaw sovereign citizen movement, and inseparable from violent and conspiracy crazed “militia” domestic terrorists. Beck’s campaign mirrors that of the Obama administration, Eric Holder’s Justice Department and the liberal media intelligentsia.

    Got all that?

Jones and his team are charging that Beck is not the libertarian he claims to be, and that he doesn’t believe in the U.S. Constitution. I guess all of those countless hours Beck spends teaching Americans about the Constitution are merely one gigantic ruse then? I am completely confused, especially considering that Alex Jones has also been accusing Beck of listening to the Alex Jones Show and copying it. So, wouldn’t that make Jones the original “Judas Goat” then? My head is spinning.

    More from Infowars:

Beck and company are exploiting a carefully crafted meme manufactured in the intervening years since the Oklahoma City bombing by the Southern Poverty Law Center in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, the Justice Department and the establishment media. They are using this government created and SPLC disseminated mythology to foment discord within the patriot movement and also set the stage for a false flag event that will serve as a coup de grâce that will destroy the movement.

The correlation between the Obama administration, the Justice Department and Beck became obvious as the standoff progressed, most notably when Beck began to repeat government talking points to attack Bundy and his supporters.

Well that’s…an interesting angle. What Jones and Kurt Nimmo of Infowars are saying, in essence, is that Glenn Beck’s entire persona was crafted out of whole cloth as a disguise for a much more devious hidden agenda–so hidden, in fact, that Beck will never actually reveal to anyone that he’s been punk’ing the country all along, and has put millions of dollars into The Blaze Radio Network just so he can secretly act as a tool of the Obama administration. I’ve heard a lot of whoppers in my day, but…damn.

Now, there could be an entirely different and far more reasonable explanation for these outrageous claims–something called “jealousy.” Note the comments from Alex about Glenn’s radio affiliates in the beginning of the above clip. It sounds just a wee-bit like someone wanting desperately to be Top Banana–as if Beck is cramping the style of Jones and his so-called “liberty movement.” But who am I to assign such a motive to a guy asking “innocent questions”?

Just personal preference here, but I think I’ll come down on the side of the commentator who ISN’T defending a racist twit.
