  • While Our Economy Tanks, Millions Lose Healthcare, and Our Enemies Perceive the U.S. As Weak, Obama is Busy Taking Selfies

America’s “full unemployment” rate–including part time workers who want but can’t find full time positions, and those who have given up on finding a job–is at 12.7 percent. Black unemployment rose from 12 percent in February to 12.4 percent in March. Leaders like Vladimir Putin–who just invaded a sovereign country in Crimea–see us as enemies, at least according to Bush 44 and Mitt Romney. And everyday you read about people losing their healthcare or their doctors because of Obamacare.

And while all of this is happening, Barack is busy taking selfies. SELFIES!

Earlier this week Red Sox star David Ortiz took a selfie with Obama after he welcomed the championship team to the White House to celebrate its World Series win. The Ortiz/Obama selfie has since drawn deserved condemnation after it was revealed that the stunt had been planned by cellphone manufacturer Samsung as a tool to market its products.

But I suppose that’s fitting, considering that Barack Obama has reduced himself to a tool and the office of the president to a perpetual punchline.

On the bright side, there’s only 948 days until the impediment to real American advancement is gone for good.
