  • Harry Reid Says Ryan Budget Creates ‘Koch-topia’

    K-O-C-H-T-O-P-I-A

Nevada Democrat Harry Reid took to the Senate floor today to launch his latest tirade against the Koch brothers and the Republican Party.

It is a “blueprint for a modern Koch…how would we say this? Koch-topia,” Reid said of Rep. Paul Ryan’s R-Wis., newly-released budget. “Koch-topia, yeah that’s it,” the Senate Majority Leader said to himself.

    “K-O-C-H-T-O-P-I-A.”

Today, House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan released his budget for the next decade calling for no tax hikes, a repeal of Obamacare, and a deep restructuring of Medicare benefits for future retirees, that, as Ryan claims, would result in a balanced budget by 2024.

“In fact, call it whatever you want we might as well call it the ‘Koch Budget’ because that’s what they are doing. They are protecting the Koch bothers.” Reid said of Ryan’s budget.

As I have recently written, Harry Reid has either lost his mind or he is a sick man and therefore has no business in the U.S. Senate. Today’s baseless attack (Koch-topia? Really?) on Paul Ryan and billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch is Harry Reid’s latest plunge into a vortex of absurdity.
