Reports started circulating like a hurricane late on Thursday with news that HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is set to (finally) announce her resignation on Friday.
All I can say is it took long enough.
People have been calling for her resignation since early last fall, and that’s being generous, given that plenty of others wanted Sebelius to vacate her post over non-Obamacare-related-matters for years before that.
While the resignation is welcome news for all victims of the Affordable Care Act, I’d be remiss not to remind you of what she said back in October about resigning. Take a look at the video above, and remember that this princess of a public official never worked for you in the first place. Real classy. Thankfully, pretty soon, she won’t be working for anyone.
My reaction to the far-too-late development? I quote Kathleen herself: “Whatever.”
