Jay Carney’s latest spin about the newly-released smoking gun emails on Benghazi is completely bogus, and the media isn’t buying it.
Here is CNN’s John King openly mocking Jay Carney as he tries to duck and dodge the fact that he said the Bhengazi attacks were “Protests in reaction to a video that had spread to the region…”
And here is Joe Scarborough going off on MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch, for warning Republicans against overreaching on the unfolding Benghazi scandal because the media has already reported all there is to know.
The fact remains that Jay Carney’s “the emails are not about Benghazi” line is a lie. The White House has been caught in that lie, and they know it.
As Charles Krauthammer said Tuesday, it’s a classic “cover-up of a cover-up.”
