Meet the Woman Who Sold Heroin From Her Hospital Bed

Breaking Bad in intensive care

Well, there’s always time for a little drug-dealing. Even from the comfort of your own hospital bed.

Up in Pennsylvania, 38-year-old Lori Sullenberger has been hit with felony and misdemeanor drug charges, after hospital staff became suspicious of the fact that a strangely large number of people had been flowing in and out of her hospital room.

Greensburg police say an undercover informant purchased $90 worth of heroin from Sullenberger, who was being treated for an undisclosed ailment. In addition, $3,800 in heroin, two syringes, and $1,400 cash were also recovered from the room. Not a bad haul! Drug addicts will truly go anywhere for a fix.

Sullenberger has been identified as a mid-level dealer, and police say she probably snuck the heroin into the hospital inside her purse.

Somewhere up above, Walter White is smiling.
