Producer, arranger, songwriter, and recording artist Trade Martin has collaborated on several projects for the blues legend B.B. King and written music for such recording  legends, Dusty Springfield, Vanilla Fudge, Cher, Patti LaBelle, and Dave Edmunds. Martin wrote several film scores as well. He’s been nominated for the ‘Clio Awards’ for his work in advertisements, and received praise for his productions of B.B.Kings, the Grammy winning, Live at San Quentin Album with the song ‘Peace to the World’

Trade had this to say about Memorial Monday: A holiday that honors those that have made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our country.

“Memorial Day weekend, I believe is the most special Monday of the year. My Dad and my three uncles served in W.W. 2. Therefore, I am extremely thankful to our veterans, always and have written many songs along with videos to honor these great men and women. A number of years ago, I was researching and discovered there had never been a specific song for one of the most loved American holidays that commemorates the day and honors our brave warriors, so I decided to write, “Memorial Monday.”

“I make my living recording and publishing in the music industry. Trade said, it’s my “Day and Night job” so on a daily basis, I create product (and videos) to release on  YouTube, iTunes & Amazon. Many times the songs are based on important U.S. or world news items. Being totally ‘obsessed’ with politics, besides love & relationships… my lyrics are greatly influenced by the constant surroundings of left versus right conflicts.” – Trade Martin.
