A new Pew Research/USA Today poll shows Obamacare and the persistent lack of jobs will likely cause Democrats to suffer a larger political defeat than the one they received in 2010’s historic midterm. The new poll says that Congressional Democrats are a mere six months away from the largest defeat for a newly elected president in a midterm since 1922.
Republicans show a 47%-43% edge over the Democrats among registered voters in the generic ballot, according to CNN.
The poll shows that voters’ disapproval of Obamacare reached an all-time high, with 55% disapproving of the four-year-old health law.
The latest Real Clear Politics average of polls shows that 51% of Americans oppose Obamacare.
