New York Woman: Liposuction Restored My Eyesight!

An "experimental and controversial" procedure

Meet 31-year old Julia Matsumoto. Until recently, she was almost completely blind. Four years ago, her optic nerve became inflamed, and since then, she has had degenerative vision loss, which she described as “the size of a pin drop and eventually, complete darkness.”

That is, until an experimental treatment came along that uses stem-cells…harvested through liposuction.

After enlisting the help of California-based Dr. Mark Berman, Julia had liposuction performed on her stomach. Then, stem-cells were removed from the fat and blood, and sent back inside her body via IV. A mere four days later, she could see again! Now, she’ll be repeating the procedure once every two months.

It’s truly amazing what science can do. I hear there’s a new experimental treatment in the works that will utilize proteins derived from my fingernails in order to make me look like Channing Tatum.
