    Boehner: I’m Suing President Obama

Speaker John Boehner announced Wednesday that he will initiate a lawsuit on behalf of the U.S. House against President Obama over his administration’s repeated use of executive actions.

“Not only does the president regularly ignore the law, he brags about it and brags about his willingness to change it unilaterally,” Boehner said today at a press conference.

Boehner, believes Obama is willingly ignoring laws passed by Congress and says this lawsuit is the first action he is taking to stop it. “This is about defending the institution in which we serve,” Boehner told reporters. “What we’ve seen clearly over the last five years is an effort to erode the power of the legislative branch. I believe the president is not faithfully executing the laws of our country, and behalf of the institution and our constitution, standing up and fighting for this is in the best long-term interest of the Congress.”

Bumbling brain-dead Nancy Pelosi called Boehner’s lawsuit “subterfuge,” saying Republicans are “doing nothing here so they have to give some aura of activity.”
