Why Does Obama Keep Ripping Liberal Arts Students?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhC40vj-7Fs

If you thought Obama’s inability to learn from his own mistakes extends only to foreign policy and his handling of domestic scandals, think again.

On Tuesday, the president participated in a Tumblr Q&A session, where he actually repeated the sentiment of something he had said earlier this year which got him in a heap of trouble. You may recall when Obama slammed art history back in February. That resulted in one ticked-off art historian at the University of Texas, and POTUS was forced to send her a handwritten apology. Amazingly, he didn’t learn from that unfortunate incident, because during this week’s Tumblr event, he decided to bash Humanities majors as well! He’d probably call it self-deprecation, as Barack himself actually was a Humanities major, but check out the condescension as he claims to have “misspent” his high school years. There’s just something truly off-putting about the President of the United States trying to influence students to study the things HE wants them to study. But I’d expect nothing less from Barack Obama. He constantly champions programs that help relieve student debt, and he seems to think that everyone should go to college. What we see here is that he really only wants students in college if they’re following his pre-approved lesson plan.

Imagine what he’d have to say to a Republican student majoring in Political Science. “Drop out,” perhaps?
