Obama to Poland: Thanks for the Video Game, Bros!

...but I didn't play it yet

Back in 2011, President Obama received a gift from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. It’s clear that Tusk knew exactly the type of guy he was dealing with in Obama, as the gift was a copy of The Witcher 2, a hugely popular Polish video game series based on a book franchise.

Ironically, Obama has not yet played the game, which was the real shocking news to come out of the president’s Warsaw visit this week. I would have figured he’d have locked himself in the Lincoln Bedroom for hours working on it. Perhaps the PM should have gifted him a fresh basketball instead. Either way, I’m sure it was like shopping for a 14-year old.

I confess I’m not very good at video games,” proclaimed Barack during a joint press conference with Tusk yesterday. He might have added “…or anything else” to the end of that statement.
