  • Watch Charlie Rangel Get Caught Googling on His iPad During a Debate

“Congressman, are you Googling during this debate?”

Those are words I never imagined I’d hear. But in hindsight, it seems somewhat predictable that they were directed at Harlem’s own ethics-plagued Congressman Charlie Rangel. It was just a few weeks ago that we were telling you about Charlie’s rather unorthodox approach to debating, as he seemed to think that a comedy routine involving a fake phone call is what voters want to see from him. This time, he just went for broke and whipped out his tablet in the middle of the debate! It’s hard to tell whether Rascally Rangel was trying to be funny or if he’s just plain stupid — or senile — but it surely did look ridiculous…and condescending to the others he was sharing the stage with. The perplexed look on his face was almost as if to say “no one ever told me the internet isn’t allowed at these things.” Hey, Charlie: do you have to be instructed not to urinate in a public swimming pool too? Some unspoken rules in life should be fairly obvious to an 84-year old lawmaker.

A sleazy Democrat caught cheating during a debate. Shocker! Big hats off to the moderator for calling him out.
