  • Texas Border Patrol Agent: The U.S. Government Is “Aiding, Abetting, And Facilitating” Illegal Immigration

Border Patrol agent Hector Garza appeared on CNN today and accused the federal government of “aiding and abetting and facilitating” illegal immigrants in crossing the border.

“These illegal aliens are being released into our country,” and most “are never going to report back to an immigration hearing,” Garza said. “How do you expect a mother from Honduras that’s crossing the country with three to five children and they’re all, you know, young aged children how do you expect for that mother to come into this country and actually begin working?”

Garza went on to warn that the illegal immigrants are families with young children who will, eventually, have to depend on the welfare system. “The illegal aliens coming to the country with three to five kids, that person is basically going to depend on our welfare system, on our government assistance and you know what, that is costing the taxpayer a lot of money.”

Garza’s comments come just as the House Homeland Security Committee chairman Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX) called for Obama to address the national security crisis of the drug cartels flooding the U.S.–Mexican border. McCaul demands that Obama send the National Guard to the border immediately.
