  • Gaffe-tastic: Hillary Actually Said The Russian Reset “Worked”

It’s as if she and Joe Biden are trying to out-dumb each other.

In an interview on NPR’s “On Point,” Hillary Clinton was asked if former President Bush and Obama’s approaches to contain Russia had failed and what can be done to make that happen. The “reset worked,” Hillary proudly proclaimed.

The reset “succeeded,” she explained, because “eventually we were able to get the negotiations with Iran that are going on now with the hope that something real can come out of them.”

If Hillary wasn’t so deluded in her thinking, she would know that the failed Iranian nuclear negotiation is another example of her disastrous tenure as U.S. Secretary of State.

Instead, Hillary actually cited the abandoned nuclear negotiations with Iran as evidence of the Russian reset’s success.

“We brought Russia around to understanding why we thought there needed to be international sanctions against Iran,” she continued. “We got those tough sanctions and we eventually were able to get the negotiations that are going on now with the hope that something real can come out of them.”

If Hillary and Joe Biden are both running for president, comments like these might be all it takes to make my #ReadyForStupid Twitter hashtag go down in history.
