Amidst the ongoing fighting between Israel and Hamas, Team Obama has promised $58.2 million in humanitarian aid to help Palestinians affected by Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

“We are deeply concerned about the consequences of Israel’s appropriate and legitimate effort to defend itself,” Secretary of State John Kerry said in Cairo Monday.

No country can stand by while rockets are attacking it, and tunnels are dug in order to come into your country and assault your people,” he added.

“See how much coverage there is tomorrow in the papers of the fact that the United Nations discovered 20 rockets in a U.N. school in Gaza,” Charles Krauthammer said on Fox News’ “Special Report.”

“Do you know what the United Nations did with those rockets?” Krauthammer asked. “They gave them back to the Palestinian authorities, so they can now be used to kill Jews.”

“And the United States just announced $47 million additional dollars for humanitarian purposes in Gaza through this same U.N. agency,” “Special Report” panelist Chris Hayes said.

“And you know where that’s going to end up?” Krauthammer replied. “In concrete tunnels and to the making of new rockets” to fire at Israel.
