Yesterday, we witnessed a Palestinian activist — parading as a journalist — going on a rampage against American media for being too biased in favor of Israel. Putting aside the irony of the fact that she was given a national media platform on MSNBC to promote the Palestinians’ arguments while engaging in said rampage, the fact remains that I’ve seen more anti-Israel garbage spewed on MSNBC than on any other network.
In the clip above, that’s MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell during an interview with a White House flack from earlier today. “We are now seeing hundreds and hundreds of Palestinian victims, victims in Gaza,” laments Mitchell. “Children, 150 or more children, children more than that injured, but 150 dead children. How long can Israel as a close American ally … how long can this sustain?“
You see, much like President Obama himself, Andrea cares much less about the Israeli lives that have been lost throughout this long conflict than she does when it’s Palestinian casualties being inflicted. Can you imagine her decrying the fact that Palestinians and Hamas have been killing far too many Jews over the years? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
But if you’re still not convinced that MSNBC is the Grand Poobah of the Anti-Israel Parade, behold today’s ridiculous panel from Ronan Farrow, which poses the following question:
Yeah, you heard that right. Ronan and pals are extremely concerned that The Twitter-verse might be helping Israel garner support in its fight against terrorists! Oh, the humanity!
That’s amazing stuff right there. MSNBC is so blatantly pro-Palestine that they’re even getting their Underoos in a bunch over pro-Israel tweets!
What’s next? Will Chris Matthews go on a tirade against Instagram?
Will Lawrence O’Donnell host an exposé on Tumblr?
Will Rachel Maddow launch an investigation into Pinterest?
This network has become such a parody of itself that it’s hard to imagine actually sitting down and seriously watching these halfwits without a bowl of popcorn and a box of Milk Duds nearby. Whoops, I forgot; Chris Matthews IS the box of Milk Duds.
As far as entertainment goes, it’s all fairly hilarious…when it’s not just sad. But real, concrete news value? Yeah, wake me up when Ronan scores an interview with Bibi.
