In a surprisingly honest report from NBC News, correspondent Stephanie Gosk spoke to the director of an immigration repatriation center in Honduras who admitted that children are being sent to America because “a year ago a rumor started spreading they could leave and get to the United States and they would be allowed to stay.”
Gosk was sent on assignment to find out exactly why there’s been a spike in immigrants showing up at America’s southern border over the last year.
“Obama’s immigration policies misinterpreted all of those things combined have led to this huge influx of migrants leaving this area,” Gosk reported.
