Guess Which President Bragged About Not Killing Osama Bin Laden The Day Before 9/11?

If you said President Bill Clinton, then you win a cigar and a blue dress.

MSNBC reports that when Bill Clinton was given the chance to kill the man behind the nearly 3,000 Americans who were murdered on September 11th 2001, he took a pass.

“And I’m just saying, you know, if I were Osama bin Laden — he’s very smart guy, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about him — and I nearly got him once,” Clinton said at an event in Melbourne, Australia. “I nearly got him. And I could have killed him, but I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him. And so I didn’t do it.”

Clinton made these ridiculous comments, a recording of which has now been released, just hours before the first plane hit the World Trade Center, MSNBC reports.
