Wait, Did Andrea Mitchell Really Just Bash Obama?

Parallel universe unfolding

If ever there were any doubt that the jig is up when it comes to the Obama foreign policy, one need only look towards NBC’s Andrea Mitchell for confirmation. President Obama has been coasting on the death of Osama Bin Laden for over three years now as his main foreign policy success, and up until recently, the mainstream media was happy to use that crowning achievement as all the evidence necessary to silence any and all criticism of Barack’s handling of world events. But something has changed in the past three or four months. My guess? The news media is finally just sick of this guy and his antics.

The world is blowing up. Apart from domestic economic problems here at home, President Obama is mired knee-deep in disasters abroad — many of which are of his own making — including Iraq, Syria, Libya, Israel, Iran, Russia, Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and…who are we kidding? Barry Hussein isn’t showing strong leadership ANYWHERE!

During Sunday’s Meet the Press panel, Mitchell focused her criticism on the president’s handling of Russia as it relates to the shot-down Malaysian Flight MH17:

I understand why critics think that the president’s rhetoric on Friday was not even up to the moral outrage expressed by Samantha Power,” she said. “They had the same intelligence, the same evidence, Samantha Power was a more forceful presentation at the United Nations than the president.”

Andrea agreed with the rest of the panel in asserting that “Syria was the turning point last Labor Day weekend, because it was interpreted in the Persian Gulf and everywhere else around the world as ineffective American leadership.” Essentially, Mitchell is admitting that Russian President Vladimir Putin witnessed Obama’s “red line” weakness on the world stage, and it motivated him to move forward in Crimea the way he has.

So much for that “flexibility” Obama promised Putin after the 2012 election, eh?
