Watch Obama Side With the Palestinians…Again

    Surprise

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbnzoVmzK-w

On a day when the Fundraiser-in-Chief decided to finally start talking tough on Russia (sort of), he didn’t begin to do so before taking a bit of time to address the Israel/Hamas crisis, and play his favorite Moral Equivalency Game. Pair that with Secretary of State John Kerry’s open mic gaffe from Sunday, and you’ve got enough Palestinian empathy to fill multiple 55 gallon drums worth of anti-Semitism.

Obama actually spent more time today discussing LGBT concerns during his latest Executive Order signing ceremony than he did in addressing international issues. Eventually, he managed to march his way out to the Rose Garden to speak on foreign affairs. While Russia was obviously given the bulk of time during his remarks, he prefaced that by announcing he is sending John Kerry to Cairo, in order to attempt to negotiate yet another potential ceasefire. Why? Because the administration is concerned with the deaths. Mostly with the PALESTINIAN deaths, it would appear:

Israel has already done significant damage to Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure in Gaza,” stated the president. “I have also said, however, that we have serious concerns about the rising number of Palestinian civilian deaths and the loss of Israeli lives.”

Well, thanks a pant-load for at least adding the ISRAELI part on the end there, Barack. It’s almost as if Obama is only concerned about the loss of Israeli lives when Palestinians are dying too. Prime Minister Netanyahu has been begging the United States for help for years now, as Israel has been subject to living in an unnecessary state of terror and fear at the hands of Hamas, Palestinians, and a soon-to-be nuclear Iran. All of a sudden, when Israel finally decides to defend herself, President Obama is concerned about the loss of life? Please.

What’s truly irritating is flipping on the news — if that’s what we’re still calling MSNBC these days — and seeing reporters like Ayman Mohyeldin file reports like this:

    TRENDING ON DAILY SURGE

    Sorry. No data so far.

In Gaza today, it has also been an unrelenting day of Israeli bombardment and intense fighting taking place in that eastern strip on the border. You can probably hear some of that shelling taking place behind me. We are getting reports that overnight, an Israeli air strike targeting a member of Hamas killed him but also 27 members of his family. And it is precisely that type of casualty toll that Palestinian officials and medical sources say is disproportionate.”

Wow, so now we’re consulting unidentified PALESTINIAN officials about what should be considered proportionate? That’s some balanced reporting right there!

I guess since Obama learns about most things by watching the “news,” it’s not surprising that he would think Palestinians are the victims here.

Hopefully, the next Commander-in-Chief will be a far better friend of Israel than this one has…that is, if Israel still exists by then.
