And the answer to the lede is…Lindsey Graham!
It took a while, but at least someone finally said it: the United Nations’ anti-Israel activities are really starting to get out of hand.
“The U.N. Human Rights report is a joke. The U.N. is becoming anti-Israeli, anti-Semitic. I would push back,” said Senator Graham of the vote by the U.N. Human Rights Council to launch an investigation into so-called human rights violations in Gaza. Graham is absolutely correct, in that it sounds like little more than an attempt to publicly condemn Netanyahu, while masking the fact that Israel is simply trying to defend itself and its own future existence. The United States was the only country to vote against that resolution.
This all comes on the heels of the Hamas rockets that were discovered inside a school in Gaza, which the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) returned to Hamas!
It seems to me — and Lindsey Graham — that the so-called “United” Nations is united, indeed: united against Israel.
