Angry Americans across the country are becoming increasingly outraged that President Obama refuses to identify radical Islam as the number one enemy we face. While it’s somewhat refreshing to hear Vice President Biden vowing to chase ISIS to the “gates of Hell,” it falls on deaf ears when the POTUS himself is out there equating the terrorist threat with a “management problem.” I’m pretty sure that’s community organizer code for “I’m not going to do anything.”
But fear not, because British Prime Minister David Cameron is at the helm of this crisis, at least as far as the U.K. is concerned. And in a moment illustrating quite clearly why we should find some way to swap America’s Commander-in-Chief with the British Prime Minister, Cameron broke down the growing danger faced from ISIS in a clear, deliberate way that Obama has steered clear of.
“Destroyed, squeezed out of existence is the way that I would put it,” said Cameron, describing what the goal should be. “We should be clear what we’re facing here is this Islamist extremist narrative, a poisonous narrative. It isn’t just in Iraq and Syria; we also see it in Somalia, in Mali, of course in Afghanistan, when hosted by the Taliban. So this is a generational struggle.”
Cameron went on, vowing that ISIS — and in particular, the British executioner who murdered James Foley and Steven Sotloff on camera — “will face justice one way or the other“:
And there you have it. Threat identified, mission clear.
Now, is that really so difficult, Barry?
Hmmm, I guess so.
