Wow, Even Liberals In California And New York Are Sick Of Obama

Obama is losing his liberal base.

New poll numbers from Marist College’s latest poll found that just 39 percent of registered New York Democrats think Obama is doing an “excellent” or “good” job. That’s the lowest mark he’s received since taking office in 2009.

And in California, Obama isn’t doing much better. Just 44.5 percent of California voters said they approved of the job Obama’s doing.

This is huge, partly because New York and California are the bluest of the blue states. Worse still, Barry ran away with more than 60 percent of the vote in California in both 2008 and 2012. So it would be very easy for conservatives to tie a historically unpopular Obama, around the next Democratic presidential nominee’s neck.

But wait, there’s more bad news for Barack.

Since backing off on his much-promised executive action on immigration reform until after the midterm elections, Obama’s poll numbers have tanked with Hispanic voters. In an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, 47 percent of Latino voters approved of the president’s performance, down 15 points over the past 20 months (52 percent nationally, down from 74 percent in January).

Oddly enough, Latinos voted for Obama by a whopping 71% to 27% margin over Republican Mitt Romney in 2012.

Obama’s magic has faded. At home, his most ardent supports are souring on him. And abroad, his enemies don’t fear him and his friends don’t trust him.

Hopefully Obama will hear about these bad poll numbers in the news tomorrow, step down from office like his buddy Eric Holder, and play golf for the rest of his life.
