  • Krauthammer: Ebola Czar A “Public Relations Maneuver”

Today, the Obama administration appointed longtime Democrat operative Ron Klain as its “Ebola czar.”

Klain doesn’t have any medical training. He’s nothing more than a political hack who’s been put in place to give the appearance that Obama is “doing something.”

It “is a PR move from beginning to end,” says Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer. “I don’t think it’s going to make any difference one way or the other. . . . It gives the appearance of motion; this is what Obama specializes in. If you have a VA scandal, an IRS scandal, a Secret Service scandal, you fire the guy at the top so you have the appearance of motion; here you’re putting a guy in who’s supposedly going to coordinate.”

As I wrote earlier, Ron Klain is the man responsible for the Solyndra debacle. When there were concerns being raised about Solyndra’s viability, Klain used his clout to help push the taxpayer-backed loan forward anyway.

And behind the push to keep Solyndra’s doors open was billionaire Obama donor George Kaiser. Kaiser was the largest shareholder of Solyndra’s.

Not only did the new Ebola czar Klain help George Kaiser get a Government subsidy for his personal investment, but as Jason Mattera reveals in his new book CRAPITALISM, Kaiser was also able to restructure Solyndra’s Loan before it went belly-up so that private investors–like himself– got paid first during bankruptcy proceedings and we, the taxpayers, were left holding the bill.

“There’s a quote in the New York Times about what Klain would do, and he said his job is ‘messaging.’” Krauthammer added.  “We have a virus on the loose that turns your organs into liquid, and the answer is to appoint a guy to do the messaging. This isn’t a messaging issue; this is an epidemic issue. It’s a medical issue.”
