  • Wait, Obama Wants To Do WHAT With Overseas Ebola Patients?

When I first caught wind of this story last week, I thought there surely must be some kind of mistake or miscommunication. It’s telling that even after all of the outrageous acts perpetrated by the Obama administration over the course of six years, there are still things that can shock me.

Originally reported by Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) — the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee whom I have no reason to distrust — there are plans being developed by the Obama administration to bring Ebola-infected non-citizens into America to be treated here. How did Goodlatte know this? A source from within the administration told him.

Then on Tuesday, Fox News confirmed that a State Department memo does indeed exist which recommends such a plan. The memo states that there should be a medical evacuation for “eligible” non-citizens, and that Homeland Security is currently working with the State Department to develop the process. It adds that we have an “obligation” to help non-citizen employees of U.S. agencies, and that we must “show leadership and act as we are asking others to act by admitting certain non-citizens into the country for medical treatment for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) during the Ebola crisis.” Amazingly, despite Fox obtaining the memo, the State Department still denied the plan. Or, as White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest put it, “That certainly hasn’t happened so far.”

In other words, the United States of Ebola is coming soon to a country near you.

That’s just terrific, guys. Truly. My hat is really off to the Obama administration on this one. Let’s bring ’em all here. Between this plan to subject all of our citizens to a deadly virus (as if we can actually deal with it properly) and Obama’s impending executive order to grant amnesty to millions of illegals after the midterm elections, is there any reason left to still refer to this as America?

The confidence with which the administration could possibly fathom intentionally bringing Ebola victims to our shores after having royally screwed up our initial response boggles the mind. What’s next? A declaration from CDC that bodily fluids are actually safe and that we should feel encouraged to go swimming with Ebola patients? What a joke. You’ve got a majority of the country calling for a travel ban, and what does Team Obama plan to do? The exact opposite. Talk about tone-deaf.

Here’s Goodlatte’s Fox appearance from Monday evening:
