  • The Lunatics At PETA Hate Doug Giles. Find Out Why

If you think Jesus is really a bearded, vegan hippy, then you should check out Doug Giles’ latest book Rise, Kill and Eat: A Theology of Hunting from Genesis to Revelation. This book will make militant tree-huggers and card-carrying PETA members wet their pants.

God, from Genesis to Revelation, is extremely cool with hunters and hunting, according to Giles, the man behind Clash Daily. Jesus Christ, he argues, was in fact a fish slayer and meat eater.

“You cannot show me, through the balance of the Bible, that the God of the Scriptures is against the responsible killing and grilling of the animals He created,” Giles told Daily Surge. “There is no place in the scripture that I have ever read that is anti-hunting.”

Giles became motivated to write Rise, Kill and Eat when he moved to Florida from Texas and encountered people who were stunned that he hunted his food.

“As a Christian—I know its not cool to be that but I am one—I became surrounded by very secularized, oh-so-sassy-saints down here in South Florida that looked at me cross-eyed when I told them what we were eating for dinner and that I was okay with putting the bam to Bambi,” Giles said.

People started asking Giles if he was insane when they found out he was an avid hunter and professed that Jesus would never want anyone to hunt. Giles decided to go to the Bible and found out what it had to say as a piece of literature about hunting.

The first explicit biblical example of God condoning hunting in the Bible is Genesis 9 after the flood that Noah survived for forty days and forty nights with the animals on the arc.

“Once the flood waters subsided, God told Noah, that all the animals on board were his to eat,” Doug said. “Hunting is not like the left or anti-hunters purport it to be, as a kind of necessary evil but it’s a blessing for those who are able to do it and enjoy the benefits thereof.”

A majority of Christians, Doug believes, are clueless on the topic of hunting especially when it comes to what the scripture says about it.

“A lot of squishy Christians borrow their worldview from Justin Bieber or Shakira instead of Jesus,” Giles said, “I am trying to slap their brain and really make them think instead of borrow equity off of a failing world view system that has nothing to do with Western Civilization.”

“I love to ask Christians—especially hipster, skinny jean types who prides themselves on being hyper-spiritual—who killed the first animal according to the Bible,” he said. “I point them to Genesis 3:21, where it is says Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves until the Lord killed an animal and clothed them with the skin of an animal.”

Giles says if you really want to be like God, which is the aim of Christianity and most Christians, “we have to kill animals and then morph their skin into leather shorts or a miniskirt or whatever the guy or girl wants to wear.”

Giles has written for Townhall.com for over a decade, but his frustration with Washington’s corruption prompted him to start his own news site.

“I would sitting at my desk at eight in the morning drinking a cup of joe and start firing off about world events for hours not because I’m lazy but because I am thoroughly pissed off by unscrupulous bastards of the left and the right, so I decided to throw my hat in the ring.”

He founded ClashDaily.com in July of 2012, and the site has had more than 60 million page views ever since, quickly becoming a leading conservative website.

Giles’ whole family is likely to offend people who dislike God and the USA. He and his wife Margaret have two daughters: Hannah, who devastated ACORN with her 2009 undercover videos of a prostitution/tax evasion sting, and Regis who is an NRA columnist, huntress and owner of GirlsJustWannaHaveGuns.com.

The USA is going to decline from the grand experiment in self-governance into a European-socialistic nation, Giles warns, if conservatives don’t “extract their heads maybe a quarter inch out of their butt” and go back to our founding documents.

“Our founders would have started a full revolution if they were in our shoes, but we dance and tinker around and want to reach across the aisle and do all this PC crap and its killing us,” he said. “If we don’t respect and cherish our founding documents and if we don’t grow a stonking huge set of cojones than we’re going to get our back side handed to us—we are going to be a cartoon of what we used to be.”

Giles believes Sen. Ted Cruz is dead on as far as knowing what is on our political horizon right now and would like to see him run for president in 2016.

“I would love to see the poor saps on the left—Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren debate him,” he said. “I’d be giddy with a big bucket of popcorn and a six pack of cold Budweiser to watch him eviscerate Hillary Clinton.”

Thus far even people who are not at all religious love Rise, Kill and Eat because there is something primal that they identify with.

“They understand the fact that they have eyes in front of their skull and teeth for tearing meat, that their DNA has conscripted them to be providers, hunters and heroes,” Giles said. “The fact that the Bible backs it up and that Christ himself was a slayer and a meat eater makes them giddy that they are not doing something wrong, that hunting is a holy rights and other people can kiss their butt.”
