  • Check Out This Song, ‘The Uniform,’ In Honor Of Veterans Day From The ‘Dreadlock Cowboy’

Dee Rock is a creature of his environment—both of Dee’s parents are music lovers and raised him on a soundtrack of Motown and Grand Ole Opry. This ‘Dreadlock Cowboy’ is a big bad country ax slinger with a soul-infused vocal style that suggests some down-home cooking. He has this fresh ability to transport heavy-duty emotion behind lyrics, with his blue-collar rebel attitude and natural charisma. His husky tones add an extra charm to his grounded heart. Dee not only sings, he writes and plays. His bodacious guitar skills will rock-you out!

When I asked Dee why he wrote ‘The Uniform’, he said, “I wrote the Uniform as my way of saying thank you to our troops for keeping us safe and free! The bond will never be torn for those who wear the Uniform. My dear friend and conservative, Jen Haymen, produced, conceived and made this video. She did a fantastic job!” He added, “I love being a being a country artist because the genre itself is so much about family values. Blue collar, hard-working men and women, folks that work the land, love and support our troops and are God-fearing Americans! In saying that, I am able, write songs about my beliefs and values, which are conservative and know that the majority of my audience will totally relate to my songs and share them with others, which helps plant the seed of conservatism.”

He continued, saying, “The songs I write are heartfelt and flow right along with what I stand for as an American. Because I believe we are the greatest country in the world with the greatest document ever produced by a nation and we are the beacon of Liberty and Freedom for the world to see”
