Hero Soldier Exposes Awful Fake Soldier Who Attempted to Get Mall Discounts

A man purporting to be a soldier at one shopping mall has been exposed as a complete phony, thanks to the curiosity of one military hero.

When Ryan Berk — a recipient of the Purple Heart who served in Afghanistan as a member of the 101st Airborne Division — set foot in Philadelphia’s Oxford Valley Mall on Black Friday, he noticed something rather interesting about a man parading around in an Army Ranger uniform: he wasn’t an army ranger at all.

Berk decided to confront this scumbag, and lucky for us, he caught the whole thing in video form on his smartphone. It turns out that the fake military man was actually trying to trick people into giving him shopping discounts.

The jerk said he had “literally just got home from Fort Lewis,” which absolutely set off Berk. “Here it is, stolen valor at its finest,” Berk said, as the man retreated like a coward. “Why don’t you just admit you’re a phony?

Check out Berk’s Fox and Friends appearance above for more of the story.
