One of the biggest liars of the year is President Barack Hussein Obama, according to…The Washington Post? Yeah, that happened.
The Post’s fact-checker, Glenn Kessler, sat down with MSNBC’s Morning Joe crew to reveal the paper’s “Biggest Pinocchios” of 2014…and the first one that came to mind was Obama’s now infamous “jayvee” remark on ISIS.
Kessler explained that it wasn’t so much the remark in itself that earned the less-than-coveted honor, but rather the administration’s attempt afterwards to claim that he wasn’t specifically referring to ISIS. “I got ahold of the actual transcript … it was pretty clear,” he said.
Check out a brief clip of Kessler above, and read about the rest of 2014’s biggest political lies (from both sides of the aisle) here.
