  • Stunning Video Shows NYPD Officers Literally Turning Their Backs On Mayor De Blasio

As Bill de Blasio entered the third floor of Woodhull Hospital where Officers Wenjian Lu and Rafael Ramos were pronounced dead from today’s ambush, a row of grieving NYPD cops turned their backs on the mayor as he walked past them en route to his press conference. (Raw video above.)

This public show of disgust toward de Blasio came as Edward Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, sent out a message today that read in part:

“Mayor de Blasio, the blood of these two officers is clearly on your hands.”

Over the last month, de Blasio has gone out of his way to insult our brave men and women in uniform to the point where the police union began circulating a waiver to the rank and file that would bar him and another city politician from attending their funerals if killed in the line of duty.

“DON’T LET THEM INSULT YOUR SACRIFICE!” the flier read.

After a Staten Island grand jury chose not to indict Officer Daniel Pantaleo in Garner’s death, Mayor de Blasio told reporters that he’s had to sit his privileged biracial son Dante down to explain to him the “dangers” he may face when interacting with law enforcement.

“We’ve had to literally train him,” de Blasio said, “as families have all over this city for decades, in how to take special care in any encounter he has with the police officers who are there to protect him.”

Gee, no wonder the boys in blue gave hizzoner their backs today.
