Americans Say BIG Government, Not Terrorism, Is Biggest Problem Facing Country

What’s the biggest problem facing the country?

No surprise here.

Data in a new Gallup poll released on Thursday finds that when Americans are asked to list “the most important U.S. problem,” a huge portion of the people said “dissatisfaction with government.”

Indeed 18% of Americans in March, up one percentage point from the February poll, put government at the top of their list of issues facing the U.S.

Another 11% said the economy, while 10% said jobs are their biggest problem.

Interestingly enough, race relations, terrorism, healthcare, and immigration were all toward the bottom of the people’s list of major concerns–even though these issues seem to be gobbling up all the media attention over the past several months.
