Mitt Romney To Fight Evander Holyfield For Charity

Just about every sports writer is calling the upcoming Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather bout the “fight of the century.”

However, more people may consider May 15th’s matchup between Mitt Romney and five-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield in Salt Lake City the fight of the ages.

The former Massachusetts governor and Holyfield are getting in the ring to raise money for Charity Vision, an organization that provides doctors and treatment facilities in impoverished neighborhoods with equipment to carry out eye operations.

Keeping a good sense of humor about the whole thing is Romney, who said “It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious,” he told the Salt Lake City Tribune. “It won’t be much of a fight. We’ll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit.”

Mitt Romney is good guy. And luckily for him, he’s used to losing.

Be prepared to laugh your socks off.
