Ted Cruz Questioned By Adorable 3-Year-Old Girl

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz told a shocked 3-year-old girl that, “yes” the entire world is actually on fire, as he was criticizing President Barack Obama at an event Sunday.

“I get to travel around the country,” he told a group of supporters at an event in New Hampshire. “I get to see what’s happening. What’s happening here, I’m telling you it is happening across the country.”

“Millions of Americans are realizing this isn’t working,” he continued. “The Obama economy is a disaster, Obamacare is a train wreck, and the Obama-Clinton foreign policy of leading from behind– the whole world’s on fire.”

An amazed three-year-old sitting in the front row then interjected: “The whole world’s on fire?”

Without missing a beat, Cruz responded as his supporter laughed: “The world is on fire, yes, your world’s on fire.”

A woman in the background affirmed his answer. “Scary,” she said.

“But you know what?” he continued. “Your mommy’s here, and everyone’s here to make sure that the world you grow up in is even better.”

The Concord Monitor reports that the little girl is Julia Trant, who unfortunately isn’t totally visible in the video. The exchange takes place in the first minute.
