  • Democratic Presidential Candidate Admits: Why He Really Wants Increased Immigration

There’s no mystery about why Democrats resist enforcing our immigration laws. Democrats see amnesty as a “gateway” issue to Latinos. Pulling in more illegal aliens is, first and foremost, about pumping up their political power.

A Democrat finally admitted the truth.

Democratic presidential candidate Lincoln Chafee undermined Democrats’ claim that they support liberal immigration policies for humanitarian reasons and admitted his support for increased immigration because it results in more votes for the Democratic Party.

“We’re right on immigration,” Chafee said Friday, during the Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting in Minneapolis.

“The fastest growing voting bloc in the country,” he continued. “Of course we want that people to be treated with respect and to vote Democratic.”

A majority of Democratic voters believe illegal immigrants should be allowed to vote, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey.

Hispanic illegal immigrants favor the Democratic Party. Based on the Pew Research Center National Survey of Latinos, 31 percent of Hispanic illegal immigrants identified as Democrats, while just 4 percent said they are Republicans. Another 27 percent favor neither party.

Besides the fact that illegal immigrants are more inclined to become Democrats, Democrats flout immigrations laws because more bodies mean more power.

The Census Bureau includes legal and illegal immigrants in the statistics used to apportion our 435 congressional districts. States with bigger immigrant populations will have an increased representation in Congress and the number of Electoral College votes they are allotted.

The number of illegal aliens in the states of New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, and Illinois, allowed the states, which all went for Obama in 2012, to receive eight additional congressional seats in the last reapportionment, with over half of those gains coming from their sanctuary cities and counties.
