  • Carly Fiorina Met With Putin In A Green Room, Despite MOCKING Trump For Doing So

Carly Fiorina scoffed at Donald Trump Tuesday night for mentioning during the GOP debate that he met Russian President Vladimir Putin in “a green room before a show,” in an effort to imply that the reality TV host is not serious when it comes to foreign policy.

Fiorina noted during the debate that she has also met the Russian leader, but “not in a green room.”

“Mr. Trump ought to know we should not speak to people from a position of weakness. Sen. Paul should know that as well,” the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard said. “One of the reason I’ve said I would not be talking to Vladimir Putin right now, although I have met him as well, not in a green room for a show, but in a private meeting.”

Yet, Fiorina stated during an appearance on the “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September that she met Putin in the same kind of venue and noted that Putin and Trump have “a lot in common”

“I met him in Beijing. We were in sort of a green room setting, actually,” Fiorina told Fallon. “The two of us were giving a speech — each of us were giving a speech at a major economic conference called APEC — and so the two of us were sitting sort of in a chair like this, about this close, for 45 minutes before his speech and before mine. I would describe him as a formidable adversary.”
