  • Paris Attacker Was A Syrian ‘Refugee’

One of the terrorists responsible for Friday night’s attack in Paris used the passport of a Syrian migrant, a Greek government official confirmed Saturday.

According to Greek deputy police minister Nikos Toskas, the passport passed through the Greek island of Leros Oct. 3. Leros is one of the most common points of arrival for Syrians attempted to migrate through Europe on their way to Germany and other countries.

The passport was used by one of the suicide bombers who struck near the Stade de France, The Express reported.

Syrian passports can be a valuable commodity for migrants, so it can’t automatically be assumed that the Paris gunman is the same person named on the passport, or even that the gunman is the person who passed through Greece. Nevertheless, the passport dramatically increases the odds that at least some of Tuesday’s attackers came into Europe as part of its ongoing migrant wave, and it adds to the evidence the operation was planned by ISIS or one of its allies.

French authorities have also discovered Egyptian documents with the dead attackers, and eyewitnesses say another appeared to be European, suggesting the terrorists were a multinational force.

The arrival of terrorists among Middle Eastern migrants entering Europe will give dark vindication to politicians such as France’s Marine Le Pen, who have warned that welcoming Muslim migrants is dramatically increasing Europe’s exposure to Islamic terrorism.
