  • Scarborough: No Republican Has Hosted A Nightly Network Newscast Or Sunday Show In 50 Years

Joe Scarborough  on Monday’s Morning Joe brutally exposed the media for the left-wing bias that has become ingrained in media.

“Name the single Republican that has hosted a Sunday show, that has been an anchor of a news network for the big three networks over the past 50 years. You cannot do it!” ,” Scarborough said during a discussion of the disastrous CNBC debate.

“We Republicans … we’re told to sit back.”

Scarborough argued that conservative anchors and debate moderators were unacceptable to the big three  major networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC), while leftists like George Stephanopoulos and others appeared to be just fine with networks.

“The people that run the Sunday shows are all Democrats. I’m not just talking about today. I’m talking about for the past 50 years. The people that have run the network newscasts — the nightly newscasts have been all Democrats. The network executives have been all Democrats,” said Scarborough.

“The definition of objective for we Republicans is we put up with the B.S. and a cultural slant and the cultural bias even from the kings, the people who are the best of the best. Tim Russert, he was mean to everybody, okay, but he was still a liberal,” Scarborough pointed out. “Tom Brokaw, tough to everybody, totally objective, but a Democrat.”

His fellow co-host and guests agreed.

“There’s a huge liberal media bias. Not just in the examples you’ve given but in less prominent people,” Mark Halperin explained. “All I’m saying is find the few people who don’t fit in that category and get objective journalists.”
