COMMENTARY: The Latest Assault on Free Speech

For some time, I have been warning about the Democratic Party’s campaign to destroy the First Amendment. The Democrats have already begun to silence anyone who denies global warming, criticizes Islamic terrorism, or advocates a stronger military. The latest salvo against free speech relies on the cancer known as political correctness.

In this new barrage, Elizabeth Warren serves as Big Sister’s attack dog. Did you hear Warren’s sexist, foul-mouthed, hypocritical attack on Donald Trump? She chastises him for calling HRC—Big Sister—a “nasty woman.” Former Education Secretary Bill Bennett put Trump’s comment in perspective when he said, “Hillary Clinton is a woman and she is nasty, so what’s the problem?” Warren doesn’t quite see it that way.

Sounding like she was infected by a rabid dog, Warren screams at Trump, “We’ve had it with guys like you!” Guys like you. Can you imagine? Warren was parroting HRC’s boast that she has “a lot of experience dealing with men who sometimes get off the reservation.” Imagine if Trump had said: “We’ve had it with dames who don’t know their place.” The Dems and their media enablers would be having a hernia. They are having one now and all Trump did was call Big Sister “nasty.”

It is entirely acceptable to call a man “nasty” or any other derogatory term, but when applied to a woman, it is forbidden. This double standard is another example of political correctness in action. Who the hell is Warren or Clinton to tell us what words we can use or where we can or can’t use those words? Clearly Big Sister wants to (a) demonize her opponents, (b) curb free expression, and (c) belittle men. If Big Sister is elected, expect more of this treatment from your government.

Sexist statements such as “guys like you” have the approval of HRC’s supporters who push the mindless argument that we need a woman as president, even if that woman is an unindicted felon. Another double standard. If I argued that we need a man as president, Big Sister’s gang would lock me in the Bastille and throw away the key.

People like Clinton and Warren who demonize their political opponents are guilty of taking the lowest road in politics. And Big Sister has the unmitigated gall to claim that she is taking the high road. I am fed up with both of them. Watching Warren indulge her tantrum in that screechy voice just drives me up the wall.

But here’s the point: Once Big Sister gets away with censoring what we can and can’t say on certain issues, she will have a clear path to outlawing ANY opinions that contradict those of her highness. Recent laws passed in Congress authorize the detention and torture of American citizens who are suspected of having ties to terrorist organizations. These laws could easily be expanded to include anyone who calls Big Sister “nasty.”

So be careful what you say because Big Sister will be listening. This is what the American people will get if they put an unindicted felon in the Oval Office.

And having lost free speech, we will have lost everything.
