• Couple Discovers $10 Million Worth of Gold Coins Buried in Their Backyard

    Some folks have all the luck.

    “I never would have thought we would have found something like this. However, in a weird way I feel like I have been preparing my whole life for it.”

    Nope, it wasn’t Heisenberg’s barrels of cash, but those are the words from one couple currently choosing to remain anonymous, after discovering a can filled with millions of dollars worth of gold on their Tiburon property in northern California. In total, five cans were unearthed, containing 1,427 coins, dating back to as early as 1847. They plan to sell some of the rare coins, some of which could fetch as much as $1 million a piece.
