    Marxism, Leninism reincarnated from the ash heap of history in the DNC Platform

    Speaking at the Heritage Foundation “Resource Bank 2014” on Friday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took shots at Russian President Vladimir Putin calling him a “KGB thug.”

    The Texas Senator also cracked a joke about the Democratic party saying, “Marxism, Leninism reincarnated from the ash heap of history in the Democratic National Committee Platform.” Cruz was referencing President Ronald Reagan’s famous 1982 speech before the British Parliament in which Reagan predicts the downfall of Communism by saying it will end up in the “ash heap of history.”
