Every Man for Himself! KTLA Anchor Dives Under News Desk as Earthquake Hits

The greatest part of this instant classic is the look of sheer terror on male anchor Chris Schauble’s face. He looks like he’s auditioning for a role in the “Sharknado” sequel.

Even more entertaining than that is the fact that he dives under his desk so quickly that he doesn’t even bother to see if his female co-anchor, Megan Henderson, is alright. So much for chivalry! The poor girl could have had a lighting fixture fall on her head, or worse…but Chris isn’t having any of it.

The only thing that would have made this video better is if they had continued to anchor the remainder of their newscast under the desk. Or at least taken a nap down there:
