• Geraldo: ‘Undeniable’ Mainstream Media Ignoring Corrupt Democrat Party Affiliations

    Nobody can realistically deny it

On Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Geraldo Rivera said no sane and serious person can deny that the news coverage of criminal charges against several Democratic politicians is being intentionally hidden from Americans. “There is no doubt, it is undeniable, that the mainstream media is more liberal than anything else,” Rivera said. “There is an instinct among the liberal, probably mostly Democratic, mainstream media to portray republicans as hypocrites,” Geraldo added.

“Where Democrats they tend to avoid the party label. There is no doubt about that, No one can realistically deny it. It is provable.”

Friday, California Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg said his chamber had voted to suspend anti-gun Democratic lawmaker Leland Yee and two other Democratic state lawmakers who are being investigated by authorities. Yee’s charges include “conspiracy to deal firearms without a license, conspiracy to illegally transport firearms, six counts of a scheme to defraud citizens on his services, and wire fraud,” according to CBS.

However, CBS is one of the few national media outlets reporting Yee’s story while also naming his party affiliation.

CNN has yet to cover Yee’s story claiming the news organization doesn’t cover “state senate stuff.”

But Caleb Howe chronicles the frequency at which CNN does cover state senator and state politics.

Adding to Yee is Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon, who, after taking office just this past December, tendered his letter of resignation this week in the wake of bribery and extortion charges.

An then there’s Illinois state Rep. Keith Farnham who is being invested for child pornography:

Missing from that tweet, like so many others, is the mention of Farnham’s party affiliation.

I could go on with more examples for days. But the point is, as 40-plus years media vet Geraldo Rivera points out, America’s liberally biased media goes to great lengths to avoid telling the American people the whole truth if the bad news involves Democrats. They don’t practice the same prudence when the accused is a Republican.

The bias and partisan favoritism the media show toward Democrats is frustrating. And importantly, media bias hurts America when the media–which has a duty to inform–willingly hides important facts to protect its favorite political party.
