• Pelosi: ‘I Wanted Single-Payer, Public Option’

Democrats not running on Obamacare; we're running on job creation

Will someone please remind Nancy to take her meds?

In a press conferences yesterday marking the anniversary of Obamacare, Nancy Pelosi said that the final version of Obamacare was a compromise and that she really wanted a public option.

Pelosi also iterated that Obamacare is a “winner” for Democrats. In fact, Obamacare is such a huge winner that Democrats aren’t going to run on it and are instead going to run on jobs in the November elections.

Out of one side of her cosmetically-altered mouth Pelosi said, “You have to ask them, the member, but I believe that [Obamacare’s] a winner.” And out of the other side she said, “As I said to you before, we’re not running on this; we’re running on what the American people want us to run on and that is job creation. Show us the jobs. Where are the jobs?”

    Jobs? Really?

Okay, let’s play her game: Barack, where are the jobs?

And wasn’t one of the Obamacare promises from Democrats that, if passed, jobs would be plentiful? Why yes, I recall something along those lines.

With all her surgery, Nancy Pelosi might be able to fool mother nature… but that’s about it.
