And then:
Minutes after WH warned against further provocations by Russia, Kremlin announces recognition of Crimea as sovereign & independent state.

Obama’s response? His administration announced that it would be issuing sanctions against the assets of a whopping seven rich Russian pooh-bahs and on another four Ukrainians.
I’m sure Obama thought that slapping sanctions on these Soviet sympathizers would set the Kremlin straight.Boy, was Barack wrong:
Comrade @BarackObama, what should do those who have neither accounts nor property abroad? Or U didn’t think about it?)http://t.co/16KUTJPXOl

That’s outright mockery from Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. But wait, there’s more.
I think some prankster prepared the draft of this Act of the US President)

What’s with this Rogozin guy? Does he not know that President Obama has issued some sanctions?
The Russians are literally laughing in President Obama’s face.
Remember in last October’s Presidential debate when Obama joked to Mitt Romney that “The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because…the cold war’s been over for 20 years.” Well, Barry, in a short six weeks, Russia has incited violence in Crimea, invaded that sovereign land, rigged an election, and probably will try to annex more of Ukraine.
If Obama was smart, he would be reading up on 1980′ foreign policy.Send this to a friend
