• The Tea Party Turns Five

    Democrats are thrilled.

Hard to believe, but the Tea Party movement is now celebrating its fifth-year anniversary. It all started when CNBC’s Rick Santelli launched into The Rant Heard ‘Round the World, and simply grew from there.

But it hasn’t been all lollipops and roses for this ever-expanding group of taxed-enough-already patriots in Washington and beyond. Democrats, including most members of the mainstream media, have been lambasting Tea Partiers from the very start, often accusing them of racism, violence, and terrorism. And that’s not even to mention constantly referring to them as “Tea Baggers” in a fairly derogatory and sexually suggestive way. Lefty hatred of the group was only exacerbated by the utter failure of their own “Occupy” movement, which actually morphed into many of the things Dems were accusing the Tea Party of in the first place!

So, without further ado, I present to you this video montage, which I’ve assembled in conjunction with Grabien. Behold how liberals have welcomed The Tea Party to the world of American politics:
